Simon Eaton

Owner Operator

 

Simon developed a passion for earthmoving, trucks and machinery from a young age. His career spans over 20 years which has seen him gain experience across a very wide range of earthmoving machinery and all aspects of their work. From local earthworks to earthmoving on major government projects with civil contractors, he will be able to help your business. Simon has also spent several years interstate driving, and also specialises in low loaders, previously floating machines around Queensland.

 

In 2018 Simon fulfilled his lifelong dream of starting his own business with a Truck & Dog. S&A Eaton Trucking Pty Ltd was born. At the time, Simon set himself a goal to buy his first machine within six months and managed to do so, purchasing a Skid Steer Loader at the six-month mark. There was a lot of demand for Simon to do bigger Earthmoving projects than what the Skid Steer could handle, and he dry-hired an Excavator on numerous occasions before purchasing his own in May 2020. It was at this time that S&A Eaton Trucking Pty Ltd registered the business name S&A Eaton Earthmoving and truly focused on Earthmoving. In 2021, Simon had a plant trailer built to his specifications, so that he can get to and from jobs with ease.

Alanna has worked in the Banking & Finance industry since 2005. Whilst she works full time as a Mortgage Broker, Alanna also looks after all bookkeeping responsibilities and administration duties for the family business. The support that Alanna provides the business is vital, as this gives Simon the time to focus on completing jobs/projects and maintaining the truck & machinery to a high standard.
